Norwood Redlegs Top SANFL Table With Dominant Display

Norwood Redlegs moved clear at the top of the SANFL ladder after beating Glenelg by 28 points at Adelaide Oval on July 10.

The result lands midway through the 2026 season when every win carries extra weight for clubs chasing a top-four berth and the double chance in September.

Coaches have shifted more training sessions to the club's base on The Parade while using the nearby Payneham Oval for match simulations and recovery work.

Local programs feed the senior side

Norwood runs after-school clinics at three eastern suburbs primary schools and partners with the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters on a weekly junior academy that starts at 4pm each Tuesday.

Membership has risen 15 percent since the April season opener, with 4,850 paid members recorded at the end of June.

Average home-game attendance sits at 3,200, up from 2,750 last year, and single-match tickets remain priced from $18 for adults.

The next home game against Central District is set for July 18 at the same venue, with gates opening at 11am.
