Adelaide Arts and Entertainment Venues Line Up July Programs

The Adelaide Contemporary on Light Square launched a new digital installation series on 12 July that runs through the end of the month.

Winter schedules have drawn renewed attention because many residents now seek indoor options after the conclusion of major outdoor sports fixtures and school holidays. City data shows arts bookings typically climb once temperatures drop below 15 degrees on average.

Venues Add Shows on Key Streets

The Adelaide Festival Centre on King William Street has added three new theatre pieces to its July roster, while the Art Gallery of South Australia on North Terrace extended its evening opening hours to 9pm on Fridays. Both sites sit within a short walk of Rundle Mall, where pop-up projection works appear each night from 6pm.

City of Adelaide figures released last week recorded 48,200 visits to major arts venues during the same period in 2025, a 9 per cent increase on the prior year. Entry to the new installation at Adelaide Contemporary costs $22 for adults, with concessions at $15, and advance tickets sold out for the first three sessions.

Bookings for the remaining July dates at both the Festival Centre and the Art Gallery remain open online or at their box offices until 5pm daily. Visitors can combine a gallery stop with dinner options along Hindley Street before the evening projections begin at 6pm on Rundle Mall.
