Free Things to Do in Adelaide: Culture, Parks and the Beach

Adelaide is one of Australia's most generous cities for free attractions. The Art Gallery of South Australia, South Australian Museum and Migration Museum in the cultural precinct on North Terrace are all free to enter. Botanic Garden and Himeji Garden offer green space in the heart of the city, and Glenelg Beach is a short tram ride from the CBD at no cost beyond the fare. The Adelaide Hills villages, the waterfront at Port Adelaide and the city's many public walking trails add further options for a cost-free day out.
