Adelaide Swimming Pools and Aquatic Centres: Where to Swim Year-Round

Adelaide's Mediterranean climate means outdoor pools operate much of the year, while indoor facilities provide year-round lap swimming. The Adelaide Aquatic Centre on Jeffcott Street in North Adelaide is the flagship public facility with a 50-metre indoor heated pool, an outdoor pool complex and a recreation water slide area. SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre at Marion provides a large 50-metre indoor competition pool and a leisure pool. State Swim and various municipal pools operate across the metropolitan area from Glenelg to Tea Tree Gully. The Adelaide Hills have several community outdoor pools in towns including Stirling and Hahndorf that operate in summer.
