Frequently asked questions

Common questions about The Daily Adelaide and how we work.

What is The Daily Network?+

The Daily Network is a group of 19 independent local newsrooms across Australia. Each city has its own daily newsletter and website covering local news, events, business and community life.

Who writes the articles?+

Articles are produced by our local editors with AI-assisted research and drafting. Every story is reviewed by a human editor before publication. See our editorial standards page for the full process.

Is the newsletter free?+

Yes. Our daily city newsletter is free to subscribe to. We may launch optional paid tiers in the future, but the morning briefing will always have a free version.

How often do you publish?+

We publish new stories every weekday morning and send a daily email briefing seven days a week. Breaking news is published as it happens.

How do you make money?+

We are independently owned. Revenue comes from local advertising, newsletter sponsorships and reader support. Sponsored content is clearly labelled — see our sponsored content policy.

How can I submit a tip or story?+

Use our tips page to send story leads confidentially, or submit an event for our community diary via the submit-an-event page.

How do I unsubscribe?+

Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're out — no questions asked.

Do you have an API?+

Yes. We expose a small public JSON API for developers at /api/articles.json, /api/events.json and /api/weather.json. CORS-open, no auth required.
