    With Adelaide, Newcastle, Wollongong, Geelong, Townsville, Cairns, the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Central Coast, Toowoomba, Ballarat, Bendigo and Darwin alongside the capitals, the network now covers more than two thirds of the Australian population from a single editorial backbone.

    The morning newsletter — sent free across every city masthead — crosses 50,000 verified subscribers, all earned organically through referrals, search and direct sign-up. No paywall has been added.

    We publish a full editorial standards page describing how our AI-assisted reporting works: an allow-list of public sources, no scraping of paywalled or prohibited sites, court matters link-out only, named publisher accountability, and visible corrections on every fix.

    The Daily Network exposes a CORS-open public API at /api/articles.json, /api/events.json and /api/weather.json so researchers, civic developers and partner publishers can build on top of our local data.
